🚀 Beginner's Guide — Season 13

1. Pick Your First Hero
Don't overthink it. The community's most recommended league starter right now is Selena 2 (Dance of the Deep) — smooth leveling with low gear requirements. Gemma 2 (Frostbitten Heart) is another great beginner-friendly pick with ice skills and good clear speed. Check our Season 13 tier list for the full ranking.
2. Grab the Free Stuff First
Before anything else, collect your free Jagged Primocryst:
· Redeem the working codes on our codes page (verified in-game)
· Bind your email in Settings → Other for 100 free Primocryst
· Join the official Discord for occasional reward drops
3. Follow the Main Quest
The main quest gives you skill points, gear, and unlocks core systems. Rush through it until you reach the endgame.
4. Understand Currency
Jagged Primocryst is the premium currency. Save it for stash tabs or seasonal passes — don't blow it on early cosmetic impulses. Redeem codes (see our codes page) to get some free early.
5. Don't Craft Gear Too Early
While leveling, just equip the highest-level gear you find. Crafting and min-maxing gear is for endgame.
6. Join a Season When It Starts
Torchlight Infinite is most fun at the start of a new season. Everyone starts fresh, the economy is active, and new codes and builds are released. Season 13 started on July 16, 2026 — it's still a great time to jump in.
